Seen from the west, Béziers offers the emblematic image of the imposing mass of its acropolis and of the Saint-Nazaire cathedral which crowns it. The second city of the Hérault department enjoys a privileged geographical location between the Mediterranean Sea and the Haut Languedoc mountains.
