The Grand Site de France of the Cirque de Navacelles is at the heart of the Causses and Cévennes territory, inscribed on the list of world heritage of humanity by UNESCO in June 2011, under the cultural landscapes of Mediterranean agro-pastoralism. At the foot of the Larzac and the Cévennes, nestled in the gorges of the Vis and the southern Causses, more than a geological curiosity, the Cirque de Navacelles is the result of a harmonious alchemy between man and the ancient and renewed nature. These natural and protected areas are home to a rich and varied terroir and exceptional biodiversity.
